- 1 cup milk
- 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 3 large eggs
- 2 cups frosting of choice

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and cool completely on a wire rack.
- Frost the cooled cakes with your choice of frosting.
- Decorate with sprinkles or other edible decorations.
Notes
- This recipe can be doubled for a larger cake.
- Use food coloring in the frosting for a themed look.
