Ingredients

- 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
- Pour in white wine and lemon juice. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat.
- Stir in parsley and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve with grated Parmesan if desired.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for best flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice level.
- Substitute chicken broth if you prefer no wine.
