Description
A classic Southern shrimp boil, filled with juicy shrimp, tender potatoes, sweet corn, and flavorful spices.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds large shrimp, deveined and shells removed
- 1 pound baby potatoes
- 4 ears of corn, cut into halves
- 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
- 1 lemon, halved
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, quartered
- Salt to taste
- Water for boiling
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and add the Old Bay seasoning, lemon halves, garlic, and onion. Bring to a boil.
- Add the baby potatoes to the pot and cook for about 10-12 minutes or until they are tender.
- Add the corn and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Finally, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain the pot and let the shrimp and vegetables cool slightly.
- Serve the shrimp boil on a large platter and enjoy!
Notes
- You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less Old Bay seasoning.
- Feel free to add other seafood like crab or sausage for extra flavor.
- Serve with melted butter and lemon wedges on the side.
