- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and green onions until combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the sheet pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes, turning once halfway through.
- In a small bowl, whisk sweet chili sauce, honey, and rice vinegar.
- Brush the glaze over the meatballs and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 5 more minutes.
- Serve warm with extra glaze if desired.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil the meatballs for 1-2 minutes after glazing.
- Substitute ground turkey if preferred.
- Serve over rice or with steamed vegetables.
