- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and half of the garlic powder.
- Add half of the heavy cream and half of the cheddar cheese.
- Repeat with the remaining potatoes, seasoning, cream, and cheese.
- Top with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender and the top is golden.
Notes
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
- For extra flavor, add chopped onions or herbs.
