Ingredients

- 1 pound of sausage
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a pot, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Stir in diced potatoes and thyme.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Stir in milk and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the thickness by adding more or less broth.
- For a spicier soup, use hot sausage.
- Top with cheese or green onions for extra flavor.
