Description

These savory sausage and cheese balls are perfect for parties, game day, or as a delicious snack. They are easy to make and packed with flavor!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Mix until well combined. The mixture will be thick.
  4. Add the milk and mix until just combined.
  5. Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  6. Place the sausage balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, use hot sausage instead of regular.
  • These can be made ahead of time and frozen. Just bake them straight from the freezer, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch or marinara.
