- 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and melt butter.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Place salmon fillets in the pan, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Add lemon juice and lemon zest, then baste the salmon with the sauce.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
