Description

Rosca de Reyes is a traditional Mexican pastry served on Epiphany.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almonds

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk and dissolve the yeast in it.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Add melted butter and eggs to the flour mixture.
  4. Incorporate the milk and yeast mixture.
  5. Knead the dough until smooth.
  6. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  7. Shape the dough into a ring.
  8. Decorate with candied fruits and almonds.
  9. Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
