Delicious red velvet cinnamon rolls topped with cream cheese frosting.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine buttermilk, melted butter, egg, food coloring, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a dough.
- Roll out the dough and spread with softened butter.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
- While baking, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar for frosting.
- Frost the rolls after baking and serve warm.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Reheat in the microwave before serving.
