Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix buttermilk, vegetable oil, egg, red food coloring, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until dough forms.
  5. Roll the dough into a rectangle.
  6. Spread softened butter over the dough.
  7. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the butter.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
  9. Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  11. While baking, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  12. Frost rolls while still warm.
