Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit until bubbly.
  2. Add flour, sugar, salt, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  6. Spread raspberries and sprinkle cinnamon over the dough.
  7. Roll up the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  8. Place slices on a baking sheet and let rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and milk to create icing, then drizzle over warm rolls.
