Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
  2. Add beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  4. Add bell peppers, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Return beef to the pan. Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix well.
  6. Add cornstarch slurry and stir until the sauce thickens.
  7. Finish with sesame oil and black pepper. Serve hot.

  • Slice beef thinly for even cooking.
