Description
A quick and easy beef stir fry with crisp vegetables and a savory sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
- Add beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add bell peppers, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return beef to the pan. Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix well.
- Add cornstarch slurry and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Finish with sesame oil and black pepper. Serve hot.
Notes
- Slice beef thinly for even cooking.
- Adjust vegetables based on preference.
- For extra heat, add red pepper flakes or chili oil.
