- 1 refrigerated pie crust
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your choice)
- 1 cup diced vegetables (spinach, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.)
- 1/2 cup cooked meat (bacon, ham, or sausage) – optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges. Pre-bake the crust for about 10 minutes until slightly golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and milk until well combined.
- Stir in the shredded cheese, diced vegetables, and cooked meat (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the egg mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and the top is lightly golden.
- Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
