  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your choice)
  • 1 cup diced vegetables (spinach, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup cooked meat (bacon, ham, or sausage) – optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges. Pre-bake the crust for about 10 minutes until slightly golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and milk until well combined.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheese, diced vegetables, and cooked meat (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and the top is lightly golden.
  7. Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
