Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 2 tbsp butter (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Spread bread cubes evenly in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
  4. Pour mixture over the bread, pressing lightly to soak.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until set and golden.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
