Soft and chewy pumpkin chocolate chip cookies with warm spices.
Ingredients

- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream butter and sugar together.
- Mix in pumpkin, egg, and vanilla.
- Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Cool on wire rack before serving.
Notes
- Use canned or fresh pumpkin puree
- Dough will be slightly sticky
- Store in airtight container for up to 5 days
