- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with crushed pretzels.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
- While the chicken is baking, prepare the sauce by melting butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add Dijon mustard, heavy cream, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Serve the baked chicken with the creamy mustard cheddar sauce on the side.
Notes
- You can use any type of pretzels for the crust.
- Make sure the chicken is fully coated with pretzels for the best crunch.
