Description

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the French bread lengthwise and hollow out the center slightly.
  3. In a pan, heat olive oil and cook the steak, onions, and bell peppers until tender. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Mix butter and minced garlic, then spread on both sides of the bread.
  5. Fill the bread with the steak mixture and top with provolone cheese.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden.
  7. Slice and serve hot.
