Ingredients

- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 1/2 cup fresh basil pesto
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup pine nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add diced chicken, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cook until chicken is no longer pink (about 6-8 minutes).
- Add cooked pasta and pesto to the pan. Toss to combine.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and pine nuts if using.
- Serve warm with extra basil leaves for garnish.

- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
