Description
A refreshing and bubbly drink that combines the sweetness of peaches with the aromatic flavor of basil, perfect for summer gatherings.

- 2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, plus more for garnish
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 4 cups sparkling water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices, for garnish
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the sliced peaches, basil leaves, and sugar. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the peach-basil mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any solids.
- Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice to the pitcher and stir to combine.
- Just before serving, pour in the sparkling water and gently stir to combine.
- Serve over ice cubes, garnished with additional basil leaves and lemon slices.
Notes
- For a sweeter drink, adjust the sugar to taste.
- You can also use frozen peaches if fresh ones are not available. Just thaw them before blending.
- This drink can be made a few hours ahead of time, but add the sparkling water just before serving to keep it fizzy.
