Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip each chicken tender into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off, then coat in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Place the coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking spray to help them crisp up.
  6. Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
  7. Remove from the air fryer and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning to the breadcrumb mixture.
