Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each chicken tender into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off, then coat in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking spray to help them crisp up.
- Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
- Remove from the air fryer and allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning to the breadcrumb mixture.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as marinara or ranch.
