  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Place the coated chicken breasts in the basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  6. Cook in the air fryer for about 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
  7. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
