  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, beat the egg and add the olive oil, mixing well.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off.
  5. Then, coat the chicken in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating.
  6. Place the coated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Check the internal temperature of the chicken with a meat thermometer; it should reach 165°F (75°C).
  8. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
