- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
- Dip each chicken breast first into the eggs, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat thoroughly with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in your favorite dressing for a few hours before coating.
- Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer; cook in batches if necessary.
