- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended for extra crunch)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another shallow bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Coat the chicken in the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Place the coated chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Cook in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in buttermilk for a few hours before coating.
