Crispy and delicious panko chicken tenders made effortlessly in the air fryer.

- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
- In another shallow bowl, add the panko bread crumbs.
- Dip each chicken tender first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko bread crumbs, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Place the coated chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Make sure they are not overcrowded.
- Spray the tops lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, then flip the tenders and spray again with cooking spray.
- Continue to air fry for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
- Remove from air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can marinate the chicken tenders in buttermilk for a few hours before breading.
- Feel free to add your favorite spices to the panko breading for a twist.
