Ingredients

  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm. Add to the dry ingredients.
  3. Beat in eggs until smooth.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes.
  5. Cover the dough and let it rise overnight in the refrigerator.
  6. The next day, roll out the dough and spread with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  7. Roll up the dough and cut into rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and milk for icing and drizzle over warm rolls.
