- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
- 1 cup jasmine rice, cooked
- 2 cups steamed broccoli florets
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade.
- Add chicken pieces to the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine cornstarch, flour, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge marinated chicken pieces in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry chicken in batches until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve crispy orange chicken with jasmine rice and steamed broccoli.
