Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 orange, zest and juice
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and yeast.
  2. Warm milk and butter, then add to dry ingredients.
  3. Add salt and egg; mix until dough forms.
  4. Knead dough for 5 minutes, then let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out dough, spread with brown sugar, cinnamon, and orange zest.
  6. Roll tightly into a log and cut into slices.
  7. Place slices in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, and orange juice for glaze.
  10. Spread glaze over warm rolls.
