- 4 chicken thighs, skin-on and bone-in
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken thighs.
- Place the chicken on the grill skin-side down and cook for 5-7 minutes, until the skin is crispy.
- Flip the chicken and brush with barbecue sauce. Cook for another 5-7 minutes.
- Continue to flip every few minutes, basting with more barbecue sauce, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (about 20-25 minutes total).
- Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
