These grilled BBQ chicken skewers are perfect for your Memorial Day party! They’re easy to make, full of flavor, and a crowd-pleaser.

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8–10 skewers (soaked in water if wooden)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with extra BBQ sauce for dipping.
- Add some bell peppers and onions to the skewers for extra flavor and color.
- These can be made ahead of time and reheated on the grill or in the oven.
