- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Place the ribs on the grill or smoker, bone side down. Cook for 3-4 hours, maintaining a consistent temperature.
- During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce.
- Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can marinate the ribs in the dry rub overnight.
- Feel free to use your favorite BBQ sauce for glazing.
