  • 2 racks of baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or smoker to 225°F (107°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Place the ribs on the grill or smoker, bone side down. Cook for 3-4 hours, maintaining a consistent temperature.
  6. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce.
  7. Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
