- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, milk, egg, garlic, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are browned and cooked through.
- Serve with marinara sauce over spaghetti or as an appetizer with toothpicks.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add finely chopped onions to the mixture.
- These meatballs can also be cooked in a skillet on the stovetop if preferred.
