- 2 tablespoons McCormick chili seasoning
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
- Stir in McCormick chili seasoning and cook for 1 minute.
- Add kidney beans, diced tomatoes, and water. Mix well.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
- Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For spicier chili, add jalapeños.
- Serve with cornbread or over rice.
