- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp from the skillet.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcook the shrimp to keep them tender.
- Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
- Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
