- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (9 oz) package cheese tortellini
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and basil.
- Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and slice.
- In the same skillet, add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken and tortellini to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Add spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice level.
