- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan, basil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir until smooth.
- Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat.
- Serve immediately with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
