- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the cherry tomatoes and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
- Add the dried basil and oregano, stirring to combine.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over the top.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
