A savory and filling breakfast casserole you can prepare ahead of time.
Ingredients

- 8 cups of bread cubes
- 12 eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- 1 pound of cooked sausage
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 cup of chopped bell peppers
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, cooked sausage, and chopped bell peppers.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread and sausage mixture.
- Stir in the shredded cheese.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until set and golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can prepare this casserole the night before.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
