Description
A healthy version of banana bread that is low in calories.
Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Add honey, applesauce, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In another bowl, combine baking soda, salt, flour, and cinnamon.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before slicing.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be frozen for up to 2 months.
- Feel free to add nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
