Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup cooked ground beef or shredded chicken (optional)
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup guacamole
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the chips.
  4. Add black beans and cooked meat (if using) over the cheese.
  5. Top with sliced jalapeños and diced tomatoes.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and top with green onions, sour cream, guacamole, and salsa.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
