- 4 large russet potatoes
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash the russet potatoes thoroughly and prick them several times with a fork.
- Rub the potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
- Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until the skins are crispy and a fork easily pierces the flesh.
- Remove the potatoes from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Slice the potatoes open and fluff the insides with a fork.
- Top each potato with sour cream, cheddar cheese, bacon, green onions, salt, and pepper.
- Add a pat of butter on top if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy!

- Feel free to customize your toppings with jalapeños, olives, or any other favorite ingredients.
- For extra flavor, try adding garlic powder or onion powder to the potato skin before baking.
