Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- In a pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Add the cold water to the pitcher and stir well to combine.
- Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or water, if desired.
- Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes to chill.
- Serve over ice cubes, garnished with lemon slices and mint leaves, if using.
Notes
- For a sparkling version, substitute cold water with sparkling water.
- Add additional flavors like strawberry, raspberry, or mint for a unique twist.
