- 4 tilapia fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried parsley (or 1 tbsp fresh)
Instructions
- Pat the tilapia fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the tilapia fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and parsley.
- Return the tilapia to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the fillets.
- Serve immediately.
