Description
A refreshing and aromatic twist on a classic lemonade, infused with lavender and fresh mint for a delightful summer drink.
Ingredients

- 4 cups water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves

Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine 2 cups of water and the granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Add the dried lavender to the saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and let steep for about 15 minutes.
- Strain the lavender syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the lavender buds.
- Add the fresh lemon juice and the remaining 2 cups of water to the pitcher. Stir to combine.
- Add fresh mint leaves and gently muddle them in the lemonade for added flavor.
- Chill the lavender lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint sprigs.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
- For a stronger lavender flavor, increase the amount of dried lavender used.
- This lemonade can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
