Ingredients

- 500g lamb, cubed
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden.
- Add garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute.
- Add lamb cubes and brown on all sides.
- Stir in tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add coriander, cumin, turmeric, chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Pour in 1 cup of water, cover, and simmer for 40 minutes or until lamb is tender.
- Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander.
- Serve hot with rice or naan.

- Marinate lamb in yogurt for extra tenderness.
- Adjust chili powder for desired heat.
