- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 1 cup BBQ sauce for dipping
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip each onion ring into the buttermilk, then coat in the flour mixture, and finally dip into the breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the onion rings in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with BBQ sauce for dipping.
