Ingredients

  • 4 large Egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon Lime zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 8 minutes, then remove from the oven and let it cool.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the key lime juice, sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, and lime zest until smooth.
  6. Pour the filling into the cooled crust and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  8. Top with whipped cream before serving.
