A classic Key Lime Pie with a creamy filling and a crunchy graham cracker crust, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Graham cracker crumbs
  • ⅓ cup Granulated sugar
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 can (14 oz) Sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup Key lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon Lime zest
  • for serving Whipped cream
  • for garnish Lime slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, until golden. Remove from oven and let cool.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest until smooth.
  6. Pour the filling into the cooled crust.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the filling is set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
  9. Serve with whipped cream and lime slices as garnish.

Notes

  • For a more intense lime flavor, use fresh key limes if available.
  • Can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
