Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse the kale leaves thoroughly and dry them completely using a salad spinner or a clean kitchen towel.
  3. Remove the thick stems from the kale and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In a large bowl, toss the kale with olive oil, sea salt, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
  5. Place the kale in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  6. Air fry the kale chips for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chips are crispy and slightly browned.
  7. Remove the kale chips from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
